Mondogoal unveils DFS app

Daily fantasy sports operator Mondogoal has unleashed its app onto the market as it continues to expand the DFS scene in Europe, and to celebrate it’s opened a Summer Showdown competition.

The app is available in the iOS store for Apple customers now whilst the Android version will be out next week. It was built by Mondogoal with the assistance of Mashfrog and Kodis Designs.

Mondogoal CEO Shergul Arshad said of the release: “Almost everything I do online, I do via iPhone. We had to have a great iOS App for Mondogoal, as we think it’ll mean that users will play Mondogoal daily fantasy football more than ever.”

He continued: “It took us a while but we wanted to build the best daily fantasy football app ever, and we think this first version gets us there. And just in time for the Euros and Copa America! We also look forward to launching club branded versions and branded versions for our sports betting partners and media partners.”

With partners including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Roma, Tottenham, Valencia, West Ham and Bologna there is already considerable potential for branded versions of the Mondogoal app. It’ll mean that fans get a more personalised version of the same experience.

The release of the app coincides with the launch of the operator’s Summer Showdown 2016; a competition focused on this summer’s major competitions the European Championship and Copa America. There is a total prize pool of £10,000 with the overall winner receiving £2,500 in addition to the interesting prize of being in Football Manager 2017 as a newgen manager.

This unique prize is due to the fact that Mondogoal is also partnered with Sports Interactive, the company behind the FM series.
